Hochschober is a mountain in western Austria and part of the Alpine system. It is a well-known summit within its local mountain group but not a globally famous peak.
Alpine hikers and mountaineers visit for established routes, ridgelines and summit views; terrain is typical of high-Alpine, non-forested upper slopes. Seasonal access depends on snow and weather conditions.
