Ho Tram Beach is a long sandy shoreline on Vietnam’s southeast coast in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, known for resort development and wide beachfronts. The area has seen extensive investment in hotels and leisure facilities in the 21st century, turning it into a major coastal leisure destination.
Beaches are used for sunbathing, swimming and resort-based activities, and the nearby coastal landscape includes dunes and coastal forest. The beach is also a staging point for visitors combining beach stays with nearby natural attractions such as hot springs and lowland rainforest.
Historically a fishing and coastal community, the Ho Tram area has transformed since the early 2000s into a resort corridor with international hotels and entertainment complexes. Development has focused on beachfront tourism and associated infrastructure.
Ho Tram lies on Vietnam’s southeastern coast in Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, roughly 120-140 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City by road and within easy driving distance for weekend trips.

How to Get to Ho Tram Beach #
Ho Tram is about 120-150 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City (travel times vary from 2-4 hours depending on traffic). The usual approach is by car or shuttle along National Route 51 toward Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, then local roads to Xuyen Moc District. Some tour operators and resorts run direct transfers from Ho Chi Minh City.

- If the goal is a quiet stretch of sand, head away from the main resort clusters and walk east along the shoreline-the hotels tend to concentrate near the casino area.
