Best Time to Visit Hithadhoo #

Hithadhoo is best during the dry northeast monsoon (November-April) for calm seas, clear skies and top diving. The southwest monsoon (May-October) brings heavier rain and rougher seas.

Dry Season (Northeast Monsoon)
November - April · 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F)
Calm seas, excellent visibility for diving, and plentiful sunshine make this the island's peak season - expect higher prices and busy resorts, especially December-March.
Wet Season (Southwest Monsoon)
May - October · 26°C to 31°C (79°F to 88°F)
Frequent heavy showers, choppier seas, and stronger winds disrupt some boat trips and diving; bargains appear, but weather-driven cancellations are common during peak monsoon months.
Inter-monsoon
April & October · 27°C to 31°C (81°F to 88°F)
Brief, unpredictable storms and hot, muggy intervals; you can still score good diving windows between squalls, but keep flexible plans for sudden weather changes.
