Heliodorus Pillar

The Heliodorus Pillar stands near Vidisha (Besnagar) in Madhya Pradesh and is an inscribed stone column erected in the 2nd century BCE. It is famous for its inscription recording that a Greek envoy named Heliodorus dedicated the pillar to a Hindu deity.
