Harvard Square is a public square and surrounding commercial district in Cambridge, Massachusetts, immediately adjacent to Harvard University’s main campus. It is a long-established civic and transit hub serving students, residents and visitors.

The area includes a dense concentration of shops, bookstores, cafes and performance spaces, with the MBTA Red Line station at the square providing frequent subway service.
