Haines Airport (HNS): Haines has a small regional airport with scheduled and charter flights connecting to Juneau and other Southeast Alaska communities; the airstrip is a short drive from downtown (5-10 minutes). Juneau International Airport (JNU): Many visitors arrive in Juneau and continue to Haines by Alaska Marine Highway ferry or by floatplane/air taxi.
