How to Get to Guasave
Guasave is best reached by road from Los Mochis airport or by intercity bus from major Sinaloa cities. Local colectivos and taxis handle most in-town and short regional journeys.
Los Mochis International Airport (LMM): Los Mochis is the nearest major airport to Guasave, about 50-60 km away. The drive from LMM to Guasave takes around 45-75 minutes by car or taxi; regional shuttles and private transfers are available and typically cost a few hundred pesos.
Mazatlán / Culiacán (regional hubs): Some visitors fly into Culiacán (CUL) or Mazatlán (MZT) and continue by long-distance bus or car; road travel from Culiacán is around 2-3 hours by highway depending on traffic and route.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service to Guasave; Mexico’s long-distance passenger rail network is limited.
