Grunewaldsee is a lake in the Grunewald forest on the western edge of Berlin, Germany, within the borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It forms part of the larger Grunewald recreational area inside the city.

The lake attracts Berlin residents for walking, running and informal recreation along its shores, and there are paths linking it to other features of the Grunewald. It functions as an urban natural amenity rather than a major tourist attraction.

Historically the lake and surrounding forest have been part of Berlin’s managed green space since the 19th century and have been used for leisure and hunting at different times.

The lake sits inside the Grunewald on Berlin’s western side, north of the River Havel and within the city limits rather than in a rural setting.

Grunewaldsee is accessible by S-Bahn (S7 to Grunewald station) or regional buses. From the station a 15-25 minute walk through the forest brings visitors to the lake; there are multiple pedestrian entrances from surrounding suburbs.
