Grundtvig's Church

Grundtvig’s Church is a large expressionist church in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen designed by P.V. Jensen-Klint. It is widely recognised for its monumental stepped brick façade and distinctive interpretation of traditional church forms.

The church was designed in the first half of the 20th century by Jensen-Klint and completed across several decades as a major civic and religious building inspired by the ideas of the Danish pastor and thinker N.F.S.
