The Great Plains Black History Museum is a museum in North Omaha, Nebraska, focused on preserving and interpreting the history and culture of African Americans in Omaha and the Great Plains. It was established to document regional Black history and community life.

Founded in 1976 by Bertha Calloway, the museum was created to fill a gap in regional historical preservation for African American experiences and has served as a center for research, exhibitions, and community programming.

Situated in North Omaha’s historic 24th Street corridor, the museum is a short distance north of downtown Omaha and is located within a neighborhood long associated with the city’s Black community.
