Most visitors reach Gradac via Split (SPU) or by intercity bus along the coast. Buses are the common and practical option; trains play only a small role for coastal travel in Dalmatia.

By Air

Split Airport (SPU): Split is the closest major airport for many destinations in Split-Dalmatia County. From Split Airport there is an airport bus to Split city centre (Promet Split / airport shuttle) costing around 40 HRK and taking about 30-40 minutes to the main ferry/bus terminal. From Split you can continue by bus, ferry or rent a car to reach Gradac depending on which Gradac in the county you mean.

Zadar Airport (ZAD) / Dubrovnik Airport (DBV): If arriving to northern or southern parts of the county it may be quicker to use Zadar (ZAD) or Dubrovnik (DBV) and continue by road; travel times from those airports to towns in Split-Dalmatia vary widely and involve long drives or bus changes.

By Train & Bus

Train: Croatia’s rail network (HŽ) is limited along the coast; there is no direct rail to many coastal towns in Split-Dalmatia. For long-distance rail, arrive to Split Glavni kolodvor and continue by bus.
