Gorky Reservoir

Gorky Reservoir is a large man-made reservoir on the Volga River in western Russia that extends into Ivanovo Oblast and neighbouring regions. The reservoir was created by damming the Volga and is used for navigation, water storage and hydroelectric-related functions.
