How to Get to Gorée #

Gorée Island (Île de Gorée) is a short boat crossing from Dakar. Regular passenger ferries depart from Dakar’s port/harbour area in the city center and the crossing typically takes around 15-30 minutes depending on the service. Ferries land at the island’s small jetty and the whole island is walkable on foot once ashore.
