How to Get to Göd#
Göd lies on the northern suburban rail corridor out of Budapest and is very convenient to reach by train from the city. Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport is the international arrival point; from there use buses and suburban trains to reach Göd.
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD): Budapest is the main airport serving Göd. From the airport use the 100E airport bus or the 200E to the metro, then transfer to suburban trains toward Göd (see trains). Total journey to Göd typically takes 45-75 minutes depending on connections; airport-to-city bus fares are around 900 HUF for the 100E.
Other regional airports: No closer major international airports than Budapest provide regular scheduled services for Göd; use BUD for international travel.
Train: Göd has its own MÁV railway station on the Budapest-Vác-Szob line with frequent suburban trains to Budapest (Nyugati and other central stations). Travel time to central Budapest is around 25-35 minutes on commuter services; fares are modest and tickets are available from machines or apps.
