There are also local buses and short taxi rides from the station to the old town if preferred.

• Arrive as the cathedral opens or during the early morning to avoid cruise-bus crowds and to have quieter access to the nave and steps for photos with good light.
• Combine your visit with a walk through the neighboring Jewish Quarter (Call) and down to the Onyar River-these adjacent areas contain architecture and views many cathedral-only visitors miss.
