How to Get to Geumsan County

Geumsan County is most conveniently reached via Daejeon as the regional transport hub: fly into Cheongju or Seoul then use KTX or intercity bus to Daejeon and a short regional bus on to Geumsan. Road transfers complete the final leg.

By Air

Cheongju International Airport (CJJ): Cheongju is one of the nearer airports to Geumsan County; from Cheongju you can continue by intercity bus or hire a taxi to reach Geumsan (journey ~1-1.5 hours).

Gimpo (GMP) / Incheon (ICN): If arriving internationally, fly to Seoul (GMP or ICN) and use Korea’s rail network (KTX/SRT) or buses to Daejeon; from Daejeon take a regional bus to Geumsan (Daejeon→Geumsan ~40-60 minutes).

By Train & Bus
