Gaya Airport

The airport has a single terminal handling check-in, security and boarding within one building. Facilities are compact and distances between check-in and gates are short.

There is no inter-terminal transfer required because all passenger operations occur within the one terminal building.

Gaya Airport is typically 10-15 km from Bodh Gaya and around 10 km from Gaya city; journey times are usually 20-40 minutes by road depending on traffic.

• Rail / Metro: No metro; Gaya has a main railway station in the city which is reachable by taxi from the airport.
• Buses: Local buses and shared taxis operate in the area but can be slow or crowded; pre-booked airport shuttles or private taxis are often more reliable.

Facilities are basic and focused on domestic travellers and pilgrims: cafés, basic retail and car-rental desks.
