Gardens of Babur

The Gardens of Babur (Bagh-e Babur) are a historic terraced garden complex in Kabul originally laid out by the Central Asian ruler Babur in the early 16th century. The complex is an example of Mughal-inspired garden design adapted to the local terrain and has been an important cultural and commemorative site for centuries.
