From DSS you can take a shuttle to Dakar then a bus or shared taxi toward Kaolack/Kaolack region; shuttle to central Dakar typically costs about 1,500-2,000 XOF (45-60 minutes), while taxis to the Kaolack corridor are more expensive.
Kaolack Airport (KLC) / regional airfields: Kaolack has a small regional airstrip used only occasionally for charters; most travelers use DSS and continue by road.
