Why Visit Fuvahmulah? #

This single-island atoll stands out for freshwater bodies like Dhadimagi Kilhi and for close-in marine life that makes diving rewarding. Divers and snorkelers come for encounters with large pelagics-tiger sharks appear on local dive itineraries-and for reefs that see fewer visitors than other Maldivian atolls. Island culture shows up in bodu beru drumming and daily tuna-based dishes such as mas huni, while quiet guesthouses and local cafés make it easy to soak up island life between dives.
