Fusaro Lake (Lago Fusaro) is a coastal lake in the Campania region near the town of Bacoli, within the Phlegraean Fields west of Naples. The lake connects to the sea via narrow channels and has been used historically for shellfish cultivation.
A distinctive feature is a small neoclassical pavilion built on an islet at the lake’s centre that is a local architectural landmark and frequent subject for photographs. The shoreline is lined with restaurants and paths, making the area a local recreational and dining destination.
The lake sits between the towns of Bacoli and Pozzuoli on the western outskirts of the Naples metropolitan area, forming part of the volcanic Phlegraean coastal landscape.
