Frogner Park is a large public park in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway, known internationally for the extensive Gustav Vigeland sculpture installation located within it.

The Vigeland installation includes over 200 sculptures positioned along a main axis that runs from a fountain and bridge to the raised Monolith Plateau; the Monolith itself is approximately 17 metres tall. The park covers about 45 hectares and combines landscaped lawns, tree-lined avenues and formal sculpture spaces.

The Vigeland complex is the park’s primary draw, with the bridge, the fountain, the Monolith Plateau and numerous grouped sculptures forming a continuous outdoor exhibition. The adjacent Vigeland Museum documents the artist’s work and process.

Frogner Park lies west of Oslo’s centre in the Frogner neighbourhood, within easy walking distance or a short transit ride from downtown Oslo.

• Monolith Plateau: The Monolith Plateau features a single granite column carved with dozens of human figures and stands approximately 17 metres tall on a raised plaza.
• Vigeland Museum: A small museum at the north end of the park dedicated to the life and work of Gustav Vigeland, displaying plaster models, sketches and related materials.

Frogner Park is a 20-30 minute walk from Oslo city center or a short tram/bus ride (lines 12/13/19 to Frogner). Several bike and pedestrian routes connect to the park.

• Arrive early in the morning to see Vigeland's sculptures in quieter light and to watch locals practicing tai chi or strolling dogs.
• Rent a bike to explore the larger Frogner Park grounds beyond Vigeland Sculpture Park-there are miles of paths and hidden ponds.
• In winter, the park's frozen ponds and bare-branched sculptures make for a stark, photogenic visit; in summer the lawns fill with picnickers.
