The French Cathedral (Französischer Dom) on Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt is an early 18th-century church complex built for the city’s French-speaking Huguenot community. The site is notable for its classical façade and an 18th-century domed tower added later as an architectural complement to the square.

Visitors see the church interior associated with the Huguenot congregation and a small museum detailing the history of French Protestants in Berlin; the adjacent domed tower contains a public viewing platform with views over Gendarmenmarkt. The church was constructed in the early 1700s to serve the Huguenot refugees who settled in Berlin; the domed towers on both the French and German churches were later additions from the late 18th century designed by Carl von Gontard.
