How to Get to Foxrock
Foxrock is a southern suburb of Dublin best reached from Dublin Airport via city buses or the Airlink service and then by Luas/ local bus or taxi for the short final leg. Public transport links are good but can be slower in peak traffic.
Dublin Airport (DUB): Ireland’s main international airport serving Dublin. From DUB you can take the Airlink 747/757 buses or regular bus/coach services into the city centre (fares typically €7-€12, 20-40 minutes) and then local buses or Luas/tram for the suburb of Foxrock.
Other airports: Shannon (SNN) and Cork (ORK) are further afield; Dublin is the logical arrival point for Foxrock.
Train / Luas: Foxrock is best reached from Dublin city centre by bus or by combining Luas Green Line (terminus at Bride’s Glen) and a short local bus/taxi. The Luas Green Line runs to Brides Glen (about 5-10 minutes by taxi or a short local bus from Foxrock).
Bus: Dublin Bus routes (including the 46A, 116 and others) serve Foxrock and nearby suburbs with frequent day services; fares are paid by Leap card or exact cash and travel times depend on traffic.
