Fort Ancient is a prehistoric hilltop enclosure and mound complex near Lebanon, Ohio, that preserves large earthen walls and burial mounds built by pre-Columbian Native American peoples. The site is a major archaeological feature in southwestern Ohio and is interpreted and managed as a preserved historic area.
