Fitzroy Provincial Park is an Ontario provincial park on the south shore of the Ottawa River near the community of Fitzroy Harbour. The park is known for its riverfront beach, boat launch, and picnic areas.
A mixture of day-use beaches, waterfront campsites and short hiking trails are the park’s primary attractions; many visitors use it for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Campsites and a staffed waterfront operate in the summer season.
The park was created and is managed by Ontario Parks to protect shoreline and provide recreation on the Ottawa River. Facilities and campground layouts have been developed for seasonal public use.
Sited on the Ottawa River roughly 40 km west of downtown Ottawa, the park sits at the edge of the Ottawa Valley and is accessed via local roads from nearby communities.
