Tips for Visiting Fanjingshan #
- Aim for an early start (first cable-car or park opening) to catch clearer views above the cloud layer and to avoid the midday surge of Chinese tour buses that arrive later in the morning.
- Book park entry and the cable‑car or shuttle in advance during Chinese public holidays and weekends - peak-season queues and sold‑out cable‑car slots are common.
- Don't stop at the main summit viewpoint: continue to the less‑visited side paths around the Mushroom Stone and the narrow ridgelines for quieter perspectives and different rock formations that many day visitors miss.
