Fair of Albacete

The Fair of Albacete is an annual urban fair held in the city of Albacete in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, and is one of the regions largest popular festivals, lasting roughly ten days each early September.

The fairground fills with amusement rides, exhibition pavilions and outdoor stages, alongside food stalls showcasing Manchego cuisine. Traditional gatherings in casetas, concerts and street-level festivities create a program that runs across day and night.

The event also draws cultural displays, parades and temporary markets that concentrate in and around the Recinto Ferial and parts of the central city.

Originally rooted in local agricultural and livestock markets, the fair evolved over decades into an urban festival combining commerce, entertainment and community celebrations.

Held in and around Albacete city in central-eastern Castilla-La Mancha, the festival uses the citys dedicated fairgrounds and central streets as its primary venues.
