The watershed point at 48.76667 N, 15.13333 E is reached by local roads from the nearest regional towns. The area is car-accessible; from Vienna it is roughly a 1-1.5 hour drive depending on traffic and exact start point. Regional trains serve nearby stations (for example St. Pölten/Amstetten), and from there a short drive on county roads brings one to trailheads and ridge crossings.

Maps and a GPS app are recommended - the divide is a geographic feature rather than an attraction with signage, so use local maps or ask at a village inn for the most obvious local markers.
