How to Get to Estevan#
Estevan is best accessed by road from Regina or by private charter flights to local airstrips. There is no regular passenger rail service; most long-distance visitors arrive by car or coach.
Regina International Airport (YQR): The nearest major airport with scheduled commercial service is Regina (about 2-2.5 hours’ drive). From Regina you’ll typically drive or take a shuttle to Estevan; taxi transfers over that distance are uncommon due to cost.
Estevan Regional Airport (ZST) / local airfields: Estevan has a small regional airstrip used primarily for general aviation and charter flights rather than scheduled commercial services. Most visitors fly into Regina and continue by road.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service to Estevan.
Bus / Coach: Intercity bus services are limited; some regional coach operators and private shuttles connect Estevan with Regina and other Saskatchewan centres. Travel time from Regina to Estevan is about 2-2.5 hours by road; fares vary by operator and service type.
How to Get Around Estevan#
Estevan is primarily reached and navigated by car. Public coach services exist but are limited-rent a car or pre-book shuttles for reliable access to and around the area.

Roads are well maintained and travel times to Regina are about 2-2.5 hours-bring water and supplies for longer rural drives.
- Private shuttle / coach (CAD 30-80) - Private shuttle companies and occasional coach services operate between Regina and Estevan-these need to be booked ahead and schedules are limited compared with urban routes.
