About Emperors Yan and Huang#

The Emperors Yan and Huang is a large modern sculptural group in Henan province commemorating two mythic culture heroes from Chinese tradition. The complex is sited near the Yellow River and serves as a monumental public artwork celebrating national origins.

As a contemporary installation it combines large-scale bronze and stone elements depicting the two figures and associated scenes. The site functions as both a tourist attraction and a cultural-symbolic landscape intended to evoke China’s ancient civilisational narratives.
