Emily Township is a former township in what was Victoria County, Ontario, that is now administered as part of the City of Kawartha Lakes. The area is primarily rural with a mix of farmland, lakeshore and small community centres.
The township ceased to exist as an independent municipal government when it was amalgamated into the City of Kawartha Lakes in 2001. Local roads, recreational lakes and rural landscapes are the defining features of the area.
Geographically it lies in central Ontario within the Kawartha Lakes region, northeast of the Greater Toronto Area and within driving distance of other Kawartha Lakes communities and the city of Peterborough.

Emily Township is reached by car from nearby towns such as Bobcaygeon or Lindsay. Use Highway 36 and regional roads; private vehicles are the usual method of access.
