Part of the Crowlin Islands off Ardnamurchan, Eilean Mòr attracts boaters for coastal walking, seabird watching and rough anchorage; there are no services, so visits are day trips or camping with preparation.
Eilean Mòr is an uninhabited island in the Crowlin Islands group off the west coast of Scotland. It is part of a small cluster of rocky islands in this coastal archipelago.
The island offers coastal scenery and seabird habitat but has no visitor infrastructure. Visits are normally short landings from private or charter boats and there are no marked trails or facilities.
Historically the Crowlin Islands have seen intermittent human use for grazing and seasonal activities rather than permanent settlement. Eilean Mòr itself has no permanent population.
The island lies off the northwest Scottish mainland between the Isle of Skye and the Applecross/Shieldaig area, within the Inner Hebrides coastal region of Scotland.
