Efteling

Efteling is a major theme park in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant, Netherlands, founded in 1952 and originally centred on a Fairytale Forest attraction. It has grown into a large leisure park combining themed dark rides, roller coasters, live theatre and landscaped gardens.

Starting as a small fairytale attraction in 1952, Efteling expanded through the late 20th century into a full-scale theme park with modern rides and visitor facilities while retaining its original fairytale character. Continuous investment in new attractions and conservation of older attractions has defined the park’s development.
