There is no direct Amtrak service to Chattanooga, so buses, private cars and local transit are the usual connections.

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA): CHA is the nearest commercial airport serving Chattanooga and East Chattanooga neighbourhoods, with regional flights to hubs like Charlotte and Dallas. From CHA to East Chattanooga (city neighbourhood) the drive is about 10-20 minutes; taxi or rideshare fares typically range from about $18-$35 depending on exact pickup/drop-off and time of day.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): Atlanta is the major international gateway. Many travellers fly into ATL and then travel to Chattanooga by Amtrak Thruway bus, Greyhound, or driving. Road travel from ATL to Chattanooga typically takes about 1.5-2 hours by car; bus fares to Chattanooga are commonly in the $15-$35 range depending on carrier and advance booking.
