Dudley Castle

Dudley Castle is a medieval castle ruin set on Castle Hill in the town of Dudley, West Midlands, England, with origins dating to the years following the Norman Conquest in the 11th century. The site today comprises masonry ruins, earthworks and later-period alterations visible on the raised mound.

Visitors can walk around the ruined keep, view stretches of surviving curtain wall and explore the limestone caves beneath Castle Hill that are associated with the site. The castle sits within landscaped grounds that also host Dudley Zoological Gardens, providing combined attractions of heritage ruins and a zoo.
