Dreisesselberg is a mountain on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic in the Bavarian Forest area, named for a prominent trio of rock formations at or near the summit. The site lies within a higher-forest landscape with marked hiking trails and mountain refuges serving day visitors.
From summit viewpoints there are panoramic vistas into the surrounding low mountains of the Bavarian Forest and across the border into the Bohemian Forest. The area is used year-round for walking, short ridge hikes and winter activities on nearby slopes.
The mountain is part of a longer low-mountain chain and its granite outcrops and summit refuge have made it a local outdoor destination for decades. Trails link the summit area with nearby car parks and mountain huts on both the German and Czech sides of the border.
