How to Get to Dhaid#
Dhaid (Al Dhaid) is reached most easily by road from Dubai or Sharjah airports. There is no direct passenger rail service for the town; taxis, rental cars and inter‑emirate buses are the practical options.
Dubai International Airport (DXB): The closest major international airport. From DXB to Dhaid (Al Dhaid, Sharjah Emirate) travel by taxi or rental car - the drive is about 45-75 minutes depending on traffic and route; taxis from Dubai to Al Dhaid typically cost around 80-160 AED.
Sharjah International (SHJ): Sharjah airport is nearer to Al Dhaid than Dubai for some routes; a taxi from SHJ to Dhaid takes ~30-50 minutes and is slightly cheaper than from DXB.
Bus: There are inter‑emirate bus services and private coaches linking Dubai, Sharjah and inland towns. From Sharjah or Dubai, shared taxis and private buses serve Al Dhaid; travel times vary with route and traffic.
Train: The UAE’s national passenger rail network (Etihad Rail) is not yet providing routine intercity passenger services for this route; road is the default option.

- Intercity bus / coach (10-40 AED) - Some coach and private bus operators run routes between Dubai, Sharjah and inland towns; frequency can be limited so check schedules in advance. Coaches are the economical choice but may require transfers.
- Shared taxi / service vans (10-40 AED) - Shared service vans operate on popular commuting routes and can be cheaper than a private taxi. They typically depart from major transport hubs and are charged per seat.
