Delta is a city in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia located on the delta of the Fraser River and forming part of the Metro Vancouver region. It comprises three main communities - Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta - each with distinct residential and commercial character.

How to Get to Delta, British Columbia #

Delta is a municipality south of Vancouver on the Fraser River and includes Ladner and Tsawwassen. By car from Vancouver follow Highway 99 south (and use Highway 91/Alex Fraser Bridge for access to central Delta); BC-17 leads to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal at Delta’s southwestern tip. Driving from downtown Vancouver to Delta locations typically ranges from about 25-40 km depending on your destination in Delta; the Tsawwassen ferry terminal is a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) into the nearby Tsawwassen town area once you disembark.
