How to Get to Deesa
Deesa is best reached by road from larger Gujarat hubs; the nearest major airport is Ahmedabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International, AMD). The town also has a local railway station with regional train connections via Palanpur.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (Ahmedabad, AMD): From Ahmedabad you can reach Deesa by GSRTC intercity bus or by taxi/car. GSRTC buses from Ahmedabad central bus stations to Deesa take roughly 3.5-5 hours and cost about ₹150-₹400; a private taxi or prebooked car takes about 3-4 hours and typically costs ₹2,500-₹4,000.
Bhuj Airport (BHJ): Bhuj is another nearby airport for northern Gujarat (fewer commercial services than Ahmedabad).
