De Grolsch Veste

De Grolsch Veste is a modern football stadium in Enschede, Overijssel, Netherlands, serving as the home ground of FC Twente and operating as a regional events venue. It opened in the late 1990s with a capacity of roughly 30,000 spectators.

Matchdays feature full spectator stands and club-focused amenities; the stadium also hosts concerts and community events. Facilities include covered seating, hospitality areas and fan zones arranged around the main grass pitch.

Built to replace older city grounds and to provide a modern venue for FC Twente, the stadium opened in the late 1990s and has since been the club’s home for Eredivisie and domestic cup fixtures. Its commercial name derives from a sponsorship agreement with the Grolsch brewery.

The stadium is located in Enschede in the eastern Netherlands, within easy driving distance of the town centre and served by local roads and public transport on matchdays.
