Das Island is an offshore island and industrial facility in the Persian Gulf under the jurisdiction of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, used primarily for oil and gas production and processing. The island hosts hydrocarbon processing plants, worker accommodation and an airstrip.
Infrastructure on the island supports extraction, storage and export activities associated with offshore fields in the region, and operations have been active since the mid-20th century. Because of its industrial role the island is not open to general tourism and access is controlled for safety and security.
