How to Get to Dajti #
Mount Dajt (Dajti) sits immediately east of central Tirana and is served as Tirana’s main local mountain escape. The easiest public-access option is the Dajti Ekspres cable car: its lower station is on the outskirts of the city and is reachable by taxi or local buses from central Tirana; the cable car takes you up into Dajti National Park where short walks and viewpoints are available.
If you prefer to drive, the park and mountain roads are about a 20-30 minute drive from central Tirana depending on traffic; there are parking areas near the upper cable-car station and trailheads, and from the cable-car top station it is a short walk to the main viewpoints and trails.
