Travel Service

Travel Service is a Prague-based leisure and charter airline that functions mainly as a holiday carrier rather than a full-service network airline. From a traveler’s perspective it operates scheduled and charter services focused on short- and medium-haul routes to European and regional holiday destinations, with schedules that are often seasonal.

The airline runs point-to-point leisure flights and provides contract flying (including ACMI/wet-lease) for other carriers; it is not part of a major global airline alliance and its connectivity beyond direct routes depends on those commercial partnerships.

Frequent Flier Arrangements

Travel Service does not operate a proprietary frequent-flyer program. If you need to earn or redeem miles, check whether a particular booking is on a codeshare or partner-operated flight that can be credited to another carrier’s program, otherwise loyalty benefits are generally not available on standalone charter tickets.

Where Travel Service Flies

The airline is based at Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) and primarily operates scheduled and charter flights from Prague to holiday and regional destinations across Europe and nearby regions, with schedules that are often seasonal. Operations commonly include point-to-point leisure routes and charter work for tour operators, and the carrier also provides ACMI and wet-lease services for other airlines. It is not a member of a major global airline alliance and its network reach beyond its own flights depends on charter partnerships and occasional commercial arrangements.

Aircraft and Cabin Classes

Travel Service operates a fleet built around single-aisle Boeing 737 family aircraft for short- and medium-haul routes, and also has business-jet types for private and executive charters. Most passenger services are configured for one main cabin (economy) on the 737s; some flights or aircraft may offer a small number of upgraded seats or extra-legroom options for an additional fee. There is no widebody long-haul product or lie-flat business class on typical services.

Aircraft types operated: Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737-700, Cessna Citation Sovereign, Boeing 737 MAX

Tips for Flying Travel Service

  • Check the fare rules carefully before booking-baggage allowance, seat selection and change/refund conditions vary by fare and by whether the flight is sold as a scheduled ticket or a charter package.
  • If you need seats together or extra legroom, reserve them when you book as free assignments are limited and fees can be charged for advance selection.
  • Expect schedules to be seasonal with the busiest periods in summer; confirm return flights and transfers closely when booking package holidays.
  • Verify the operating carrier on your confirmation-the airline frequently operates charter or ACMI flights for other carriers, so the aircraft and in-flight service may vary from what you expect.
