Cubbon Park is a large public park in central Bangalore (Bengaluru), established in the late 19th century and set amid civic buildings and tree-lined avenues. It functions as a major urban green space and houses several colonial-era monuments and public institutions.

Key features include formal promenades, mature botanical plantings, statues and bandstands, with heritage buildings such as the State Central Library and the Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall within or adjacent to the park. The park is used daily by residents for walking, exercise and informal recreation.

The park was laid out during the British colonial period and later named after a 19th-century administrator; it has been managed as a municipal urban park since that time, with conservation of mature trees and public facilities a continuing focus.

Located in the heart of Bangalore, Cubbon Park lies between major civic institutions and commercial corridors, making it highly accessible from the central business district and nearby neighbourhoods.

Metro and bus: Cubbon Park is in central Bengaluru. The Namma Metro Purple Line serves the area - the Cubbon Park and M.G. Road metro stations are within a few hundred metres of park entrances. Numerous BMTC city buses stop on nearby roads (e.g., M.G. Road/ublity) and there are pedestrian entrances from Kasturba Road and M.G. Road.

Drive: From Kempegowda International Airport expect roughly 35-40 km to the city centre (about 45-75 minutes depending on traffic) via NH44 and city arterials; parking is available at nearby public car parks but can be limited, so using the metro or buses is often easier.
