Croke Park
Park Large Dublin stadium, primary venue for Gaelic games
In Dublin, Croke Park is the Gaelic Athletic Association’s flagship stadium: a destination for major Gaelic football and hurling matches, stadium tours, and large-scale concerts in an unmistakably local sporting culture.
Croke Park is the principal stadium of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Dublin and is Ireland’s largest stadium, used primarily for Gaelic football and hurling.
The stadium’s main bowl hosts major national fixtures including the All-Ireland finals and regular championship matches, and match days draw large crowds with an official capacity of around 82,300. Off the field, there is a museum and visitor programme covering GAA history and the stadium’s development.
The ground has been associated with the GAA since the early 20th century and underwent major redevelopment around the turn of the 21st century to expand capacity and modernise spectator facilities.
Situated on Jones Road in north Dublin, Croke Park lies a few kilometres north of Dublin city centre and is accessible by public transport.
