College Green is a prominent public square and lawn in central Dublin, directly adjoining the main entrance of Trinity College Dublin. It is a focal point of the city centre and a frequently photographed civic space.

The square provides an open green in the heart of the city, framed by historic buildings including the former Irish Parliament, now occupied by the Bank of Ireland. Pedestrians use the space as a route between historic quarters and for casual seating and events.

The green sits on the site of Dublins historical civic core and developed alongside Trinity College and the citys political institutions; the former Parliament building on the square dates to the 18th century. College Green is within Dublin city centre, a short walk from O’Connell Street and Grafton Street. The area is served by multiple Dublin Bus routes; the nearest Luas (tram) stop is Trinity (Green Line) and the nearest DART/rail station is Tara Street, about a 10-15 minute walk.

• If photographing the Bank of Ireland façade, arrive mid-morning when light sits on the classical portico.
• Watch for traffic cones and security vehicles when filming - the square often hosts official events.
• Sit on the grassy slope for an unobstructed view of the Dáil and the façades across the street.
