How to Get to Constanzana
Constanzana is a small municipality best reached via the provincial hub of Ávila or through Madrid-Barajas (MAD) with onward regional connections. Use Estación de Ávila or the Ávila bus station for transfers.
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD): The main airport for reaching Constanzana. From MAD take Cercanías to Madrid Atocha (≈25-30 min, ~€3) and connect to a Renfe train or an Avanza bus to Ávila - overall travel to the region is about 1-1.5 hours with total cost commonly €8-€15.
Salamanca-Matacán (SLM): A regional option; reach Salamanca centre by taxi or shuttle in ~15-20 minutes (taxi ~€10-€20). From Salamanca, regional buses and trains can connect you toward Ávila province - allow 30-90 minutes more and fares of around €3-€12 depending on route.
Train: The nearest mainline station is Estación de Ávila. Renfe Media Distancia trains from Madrid to Ávila take about 1-1.5 hours and usually cost €6-€12. From Ávila a taxi or local bus is required for the last stretch to Constanzana.
