Constantine Palace

The Constantine Palace (Konstantin Palace) is a historic palace and state residence in Strelna on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland near Saint Petersburg. It was restored and repurposed in the early 21st century to serve as a presidential residence and international conference venue.

Visitors see a restored Baroque palace with formal gardens and state reception rooms, along with modern conference facilities used for official summits and cultural events. The restored gardens and cascade have been returned to a historic layout and the palace complex includes reception halls and exhibition spaces.

Originally constructed as an imperial or noble residence in the imperial Russian period, the palace complex suffered damage and decline in the 20th century and underwent major restoration and reconstruction in the 2000s. Since then it has been used for state hospitality and international gatherings, while some areas are shown on guided tours when not in official use.

The palace sits in Strelna, a suburb on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland within the St. Petersburg region, set in landscaped parkland facing the gulf and accessible from central St. Petersburg by road.
