Conesus Lake is a freshwater lake in Livingston County, New York, and is one of the Finger Lakes. It is the westernmost of the Finger Lakes and is approximately 7 miles (11 kilometres) long.
The lake is used for boating, angling and seasonal lakeside recreation, with private cottages and public access points along its shore. Small community parks and boat launches provide the main visitor facilities.
Like the other Finger Lakes, Conesus Lake occupies a glacially carved trough formed during the last ice age; settlements and roads developed along its shoreline in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The lake lies in western New York state, south of Rochester, with the villages of Geneseo and Livonia among the closest towns.
